The RYA is the national governing body for the sports of sailing, windsurfing, motor boating and powerboat racing. We act as an Umbrella Body for Disclosure applications from employees and volunteers working for our affiliated organisations and recognised training centres, following signature of a written agreement between the organisation and the RYA.
