Membership

Master Locksmiths Association, a not-for-profit company, limited by guarantee, is the main trade association for locksmiths in the UK. Recognised by Government, Police and Insurers, the MLA runs a licensing scheme for locksmiths. The Association successfully changed the law on the vetting of locksmiths in 2009, when it was added to the Exceptions Order to the ROA, enabling it to ask exempt questions of its members.
