AMA members need to be protected and DBS checks assist in ensuring that the most suitable people are appointed to roles working with these vulnerable groups. Our AMA team carries out DBS checks via the validation form that result in certificates being issued by the DBS to an individual. The AMA and employers can then ask to see this certificate to ensure that they are recruiting suitable people into the AMA and their organisation.
