Surrey County Council is a Registered Umbrella Body with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) . We can offer you an online Electronic Disclosure and Barring Service (EDBS) application service for all your barring and disclosure needs Basic Disclosure, Standard check and Enhanced with or without Children's and/or Adults Barred List.

Our DBS Umbrella services are for organisations with at least 2 employees and are not suitable for individuals because we do not currently offer ID verification services.

If you are self-employed, at this time, you will need to seek assistance from another DBS Umbrella organisation who is able to facilitate individual applicants.
